Karma Sonam Dargye Ling (KSDL) Tibetan Buddhist Temple is the Canadian Seat of His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Urgyen Trinley Dorje of the Karma Kagyu lineage. The Resident Lama is The Venerable Choje Lama Namse. We are a Vajrayana Dharma Centre offering meditation classes and Deity Practice (Green Tara, White Tara, Chenrezig, Medicine Buddha, etc.). We also have Introduction to Buddhism classes for beginners, and Buddhist retreats. We are located at 86 Vaughan Road, Toronto, Canada.

TRALEG KYABGON RINPOCHE IX
Traleg Kyabgon Rinpoche is President and Spiritual Director of Kagyu E-Vam Buddhist Institute in Melbourne and E-Vam Institute in the Upstate New York. Traleg Rinpoche was recognized as the ninth incarnation of the Traleg line by His Holiness the XVI Gyalwa Karmapa and was accorded the title Kyabgon, a significant distinction retained by only a few lineage holders of the Tibetan tradition. Rinpoche regularly gives lectures and seminars world-wide on Buddhism and related topics, and has become well-known for his erudition, fluency in English and background in western psychology and comparative religion. He is especially respected for his skill in working with people of diverse interests, ages, and backgrounds. Rinpoche has both a strict traditional Buddhist education and a comprehensive Western education, holding a degree from La Trobe University and is currently engaged in academic research for a Doctoral dissertation.

THE PRACTICE OF LOJONG
Saturday, July 25th & 26th, 10 – 12; 2 – 4 pm.
For many centuries Indian and Tibetan Buddhists have employed this collection of pithy, penetrating Dharma slogans to develop compassion, equanimity, lovingkindness, and joy for others. Known as the lojong — or mind-training — teachings, these slogans have been the subject of deep study, contemplation, and commentary by many great masters.
Cost: $30 per morning or afternoon session.
$125 for the weekend. Members participate for the weekend for only $100.
